I love the opening Grooving Music song and need more like that Japanese or not, would you know of any bands or what the genre is ?

If you like the Gunbuster 2 OP theme, which is by ROUND TABLE (feat. Nino), then try looking for their CDs or for soundtracks from other anime they've done theme songs for. If you want to know where, you can browse online anime stores. Here is a list of Round Table CDs and soundtracks from Amazon.com.
