Is there a song that when ever you hear it you are reminded of a
certain anime or manga? Is there an anime or manga that makes
you think of a song?

When ever i hear this one song by Brand New (i don't know what
its called, it was an unreleased album demo) I always think of the
Ichigo 100% manga. I think that the reason i think of this series is
because when i first got the CD i was reading the manga and so i
associate the song with the series. Also i really liked the Ichigo 100%
manga and that is my favorite Brand New song.

when ever i read naruto i always think of the song guardrail, by Bayside.
Bayside is one of my favorite bands and Naruto is also one of my favorite
series. I listened to Bayside a lot when i was reading Naruto, so thats
most likely why i think of guardrail when i read Naruto.

It may be a bit goofy but tell me what song reminds you of a certain anime
or manga series, or what anime or manga makes you think of a
particular song, and why?

Anthem of a Seventeen Year Old Girl by Broken Social Scene always reminds me of Death Note. Like you, I figure it's because I was listening to it while I read Death Note.

I can't think of any anime or manga that make me think of a song, but the manhwa Goong often reminded me of two songs from the Korean drama Full House. One of the songs was translated as something like The love that was too late, and I really can't recall the other song.

"Ready Steady Go" by L'Arc~en~Ciel reminds me of Fullmetal Alchemist. It's truly one of the better openings I've heard and putting it with my favourite anime is what keeps it in my head.

Another song that I think is notable with the anime it's featured in is "*~Asterisk" by Orange Range for Bleach.

"Breathless" by Coors always reminds me of Video Girl Ai Anime hyper I think it's because Youta and Ai always leave each other speechless about certain things... Plus there's a lot of denial haha.

Any anime song will naturally make you think of the anime. I always end up with intro and outro images playing in my head while I listen to my iPod. This is especially true for me with Fullmetal Alchemist songs. It is my favorite anime and has some of the best songs, of course. Cool

I completely agree. By now I think I have both the opening video and music in sync in my mind. Laughing

After watching an AMV for it, I'll never be able to separate Within Temptation's "Forsaken" from Evangelion ever again. The song was brilliant to begin with, but the video was absolutely mind-blowing.

I suppose listening to Madonna's 'In To The Groove' reminded me of Pokemon for some reason. But then again it also reminded me of Tenchi Muto a little bit. But don't ask why O-o

Johnny Cash's hurt reminds me of Evangelion for some reason.

AMV's are my main reason for associating songs- I prefer to focus on reading rather then listening to music as well. Thanks to one AMV, i will forever associate Freaky Friday by Aqua with Excel saga. I had never heard that song before. I'm kind of glad Wink Also La resistance from South park will forever remind me of Evangelion thanks to another AMV i found. As well as My heart will go on thanks to a certain scene in AMV Hell 3.

"Aozora no Namida" by Hitomi Takahashi reminds me of Blood+. I really like the tune to it and the enjoy singing along witht he lyrics when I get the chance.

"D-Technolife" by UVERworld is probably the most noticeable songs for BLEACH probably because that's what made them so popular.

Also songs by Aya Hirano like "Lost my Music" and "God Knows..." always remind me of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, episode 12 mainly Wink Her other song "Hare Hare Yukai" makes me want to get up and dance like all those people on youTube. <--MUST Watch I LOL'd :3

Found another song I'm likely to associate with Neon Genesis Evangelion for a very long time. Following on from Forsaken, I'll think of the show whenever I listen to the aptly named "Angels"

Well... I always associate the song "Welcome to the Black Parade" with D.Gray-man... that's probably because I watched an amv that had the song... plus I think the lyrics kinda match the story... but that could be just me.

also the song "momono Hanabira" by ai Ootsuka always makes me think of the anime Hanbun no Suki ga Noboru Sora for some reason... and I have no idea why. Anime hyper

"hishoku no sora" for shakugan no shana
"himitsu kichi" for eureka 7
"Last regrets" for Kannon
"dramatica piano" for H&C
"starless" for kenshin

It might be just my taste in music, but i feel its much easier to recognize a song when they are piano. I instanly recognized kanon after only watching 1 or 2 episodes. Other series require a full completion

also, the songs luckysleven jsut mentioned are all one of my top favorite, i think "colors of love" in blood+ was really good too.

I've had this happen with video games twice. I got a Prozac CD at the same time as Donkey Kong 64, so whenever I would hear the music, I'd think of Nintendo's apes. Similarly, I got Linkin Park's Metora at the same time as the first DS Castlevania game, and now I occasionally think of vampires and such when listening to that CD.

Ahh, video game music huh? Definately has to be:
"eyes on me" for FF8
"to zanarkland" for ff10

I just recently finished FF8 (i know!! i restarted alot!), and whenever i hear the song, it reminds me of the 5 years i've spent trying to finish.
