A delay? Really? I would have never guessed that this project could have one. Very Happy

Well, we don't have a release date for R1 vol. 2 LE in the US either so it looks like R2 vol. 3 is keeping the trend alive. Wink

March 31. At least, that's what Right Stuf and AoD have the regular edition listed at.

But there's no solicitation for vol. 2 LE yet and Geneon's website lists a different date for vol. 2.

Didn't they add some 15 minutes of new footage when ova 1 was delayed? As long as it's just production delays and not some arguement with the animation studioo and lets say the manga creator, I'm willing to wait. With a full release table somewhere on the scale of years, what's a few extra months

I am not terrible surprised that this series was delayed, In the newest Protoculture Addicts, there was an interview with the director and he was saying how it's so hard to make these episodes because if the show isn't 24 mins then it's like making a small movie.

Also does anyone else think that there's going to be a LE with this release as well? I kind of hope so, and I hope we get a soundtrack or something like that.

I wish Geneon would release a version with the extras but without the figurine. Nothing against figurine collectors, it just isn't my thing. But I don't want the stripped regular edition either. Crying or Very sad

They did, Best Buy was selling the LE without the figure, in the metal tin. They probably still have a bunch of them; $24.99 if I'm remembering right.

Oh poo. But I expected this to take a long time since the director mentioned how hard it is to produce a 40+ minute feature.

Oh well, Vol. 2 is coming out in the US in March, so... that'll hold me over.

Like Zac noted there is a deal most Bestbuy you can still get them, take a look here. The regular version goes for $19.99, special edition $22.49 (save ya nearly $20) and most places you can still pick it up so that way you don't pay shipping.

I think it's still being drawn right now. Hirano's either writing volume 8 or 9 right now. If 9 is the one being written right now, I'd guess 3 to 5 months for volume 8. If he's only on volume 8, it'll be a good while longer.

Good to know. I didn't see that version when I was at my local Best Buy, but I'll definitely check again!

Actually he's done with volume 9 although I'm not sure it's been collected yet. All 10 chapters have been published in YKO, though.

The producers probably ran out of money like they did after making the 1st episode.

if it's anything like the quality of the first to volumes it's well worth the wait. I'd rather see a delay than a sloppy rush job
