It looks pretty, but I've been burned by this series so many times that it's hard to really get excited. I hope they take more notes from the recent Trials of Mana remake, as their world design and combat hint at, than their other endeavors. At least we can see a party fighting in the trailer.

I'm still always weirded out by the fact that they never made a real return to classes. Sword of Mana briefly touched on them, but just gave you a boost to x weapon or y magic. Trials of Mana (SNES) is still one of my most replayed games due largely to the number of class combinations you can create, and how different each class can be.

If it wasn't for the design aesthetic, this looks like something that came from Bamco instead of SE.

The article states that the release platforms weren’t revealed but they’re clearly displayed at the end of the triailer.

I love the art style of the Mana series, especially Legend. But whereas in 2D, the games look very distinctive, the 3D entries just look like another Anime looking JRPG.

Despite all these criticisms, it's blatantly obvious you guys are going to play the game anyway because it's mother-effing Mana!
