- Soul Hackers: I just started playing Persona 3 for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I've never played an Atlus game before but so far I've been enjoying it, and this new game looks pretty cool, it seems like Atlus is going after the Persona audience. As for why Atlus didn't include a Switch version, I guess it's due to hardware (but the Siwtch has seen some impressive ports like Doom, Witcher 3 and No Man's Sky), but lately it feels like Japanese 3rd Party developers do not want to make a Switch version because it would somehow ruin the game's image, there were some games that developers said it would be impossible to port to the Switch like Jump Force, Dragon Ball Z Kakarot and Demon Slayer that later got ported anyways, so there's a possibilty that SH2 will arrive to the Switch in the future.
- Capcom FC: this is an incredible collection of games, the only ones I find missing are the Mega Man Power Fighters. - SF6 the switch to the RE Engine is going to be interesting to look at, I remember hearing that during the development of SFV Capcom was experimenting with a realistic style, I wonder if they're trying to compete with Tekken and Mortal Kombat more directly this time. - Nintendo SRD: it's amazing that Nintendo has several studios that work closely with them but never show any interest in buying them, but with the recent acquisitions happening they'll better start making some moves. - NieR anime: never played Automata or even watched a Let's Play or walkthrough, perhaps if the anime is a direct adaptation I'll give it a watch. |

Is that stock logo real? The link goes to a dead page. That said, there are a bunch of similar logos on Adobe Stock and I think I have a sports bottle somewhere with an almost identical one.
Soul Hackers looks cool, but I can't imagine having time to play it anytime soon. I'll almost certainly pick up the Capcom Fighting Collection, although I expect the online to mostly consist of being destroyed by people who've been playing these games for 20+ years so completely that I don't even know what they did (which is still preferable to no online or a bunch of lag-warping). |

I wish the CAPCOM Fighting Collection had included Rival Schools: United By Fate. I've always preferred 3D fighting games (Soul Calibur, DOA, Virtua Fighter) to 2D, but I had Rival Schools for my PS1 and did manage to get into its full commitment to crazy.
I'm really not sure what to think of the NieR:Automata anime. I've done A through C in the game, and there are so many narrative dead-ends in the game's story (spoiler[Adam and Eve] don't turn out to be particularly interesting or that big of a deal, right?), that when we strip out the game and just hold up the story, does it really work all that well? Maybe I'm just salty from the Muv-Luv Alternative anime landing with such a wet thud a few months back. But I think we should have learned by this point that sometimes giving the fans exactly what they want turns out to be a surprisingly bad idea. |

wells i don't think muvluv fans were given what they wanted , since their wants included starting with extra and going to unlimited. about rival schools there is a rumour that Capcom wants to do a separate 3d fighting game collection. ( and i started the rumours here) |

Hmm, cannot access that link too. Makes me wonder if the original artist actually did reach an exclusive rights deal with Capcom. https://www.ign.com/articles/street-fighter-6-logo-adobe-stock
Though Soul Hackers 2 not being on the Switch does make me wonder why. I can definitely see them being pulled too thin, effectively coming out on FIVE platforms. We might see one later on? But I cannot think of an instance where they would reveal a later port down the line. Not counting something like P4AU. Though maybe Persona 5 Strikers getting a Steam port announced in a much later English trailer, but that might be because that's also a Koei Temco collab. |

I really miss the gameplay of fighters like Rival Schools. The baseball minigame and quirky mechanics made it feel like a party game (especially with Project Justice.) I love the art direction in most of the games in the new Capcom collection and I wish they would use that attractive late 90s anime aesthetic again. |

Also, info about Spartacus --Sony's competitor to Game Pass-- has been leaked, and testing seems coming soon:
And Smash Bros won't be on EVO again this year - probably permanently. as Nintendo has partnered with Panda Global to host its own Smash Bros. competitive circuit |

Soul hackers 2 looks, at very least, a bit more memorable than the original. At a guess, I'd imagine it'll be a more "normal" MegaTen game, as compared to other RPG- somewhere between Persona's social sim and mainline's narrative minimalism. At least, I hope so. I'm intrigued, at least.
