I know some people can't stand it, but I am really excited for more of this. Once you get past the CGI, it is really fun and reminds me of SAC.

As lackluster as the first part was, I'm still curious to see where it's going.

Yes the second season, not the second half of a season.

Well, one way or another, nice to have more Ghost in the Shell to look forward too.

I have a hard time watching Ghost in the Shell if the English SAC cast aren't on it, but what turned me off and stalled my watch of season 1 was the Eng dialogue not matching the Japanese audio - it seemed like they toned down, may have even censored some stuff and it was really bizarre. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

With S2 coming, I may just force myself through the subtitled version just because I like GitS so much.

I really tried to watch S1.

The story did not hook me.

RE: CG. I am not opposed to CG. It is a tool. But a tool is only as good as the artist and man, it was a mess. No "ex-arm" mess. But still a mess.

Netflix may be spending $$$ on anime, but they are throwing a lot of money down the drain.

The CGI wasn't that good but I still liked the first season and I'm glad we're getting a continuation and I'm excited for the dub cast to come back again.

Glad we're getting more GitS. The CGI never grew on me (I didn't hate it either though) but season 1 delivered everything I enjoy about the GitS tv shows + Arise.
