NEWS: P.A. Works' Aquatope of White Sand Anime Reveals More Cast, New Promo Video, Visual

Fuuka not being a major character in the 2nd half is quite disappointing as I found her to be the stronger of the two leads, but narratively it makes more sense for her to go back home. Seeing Nao Toyama on the list is exciting, and her character looks fun as well.

Kukuru moving to Tingaara was set up in multiple ways and should be interesting, but I'll admit I'm less excited about the 2nd half than I was the first.

People thinking they're writing off Fuuka are funny its obvious her story isn't finished yet but at the same time thinking it would switch to focus on her mainly is just as funny. Narratively it would have felt too awkward to go from an aquarium/rural setting to an idol/city. Also remember she's going just to be in a movie it doesn't mean she's magically going to pick up being an idol again right away. Not like she's going to be in the movie then like 2 days later that movie will come out and she sky rockets to stardom. Post production will happen and then when everything starts to resolve the movie will come out and THEN she'll get notoriety and at the end will go back to Tokyo. She'll be gone for an ep or 2 at most to at least establish she was away to be in the film. That or we're going to get like a half year jump since Kukuru is working fulltime and Fuuka will come waltz right back in mid or end of the ep having just finished filming the movie. As Millhi pointed out she's clearly still there so I don't see why you guys are thinking about dropping it cause "they wrote her off"
