Quite a sales boost. And honestly surprising considering the early arcs are the weakest part of this series. |

This series has an interesting thing that each arc has new elements and complexities very different from the previous one. I'm glad it started to be successful.

Congrats to the author and everyone involved in the anime! Clearly it was a success.
The only reason I'm only mildly surprised is that the series always felt like it would fall below everyone's radar despite the surprising art quality. I'm more shocked that the series managed to stay afloat long enough to get an anime, tbh. |

I can only imagine to get that level of boost the series must of had some pretty small sales numbers.
One anecdote is that the series cant even get enough attention on reddit to get to the bottom of the karma and like ratio poll. Which is based on the total amount of votes the reddit discussion threads get. |

As someone who is watching this show I don't see what it is that the people in Japan saw in this thing. Everything from the animation, story, and flat color palette is so bush league that I'd figure this would be one of those shows that would just come and go.
