That’s . . . interesting. I’ve loved this manga for years and my hard copies are well-worn and well-loved. I’m curious to see what gets edited and what doesn’t. I wonder what the circumstances were around the movie, and it’s interesting that she’s essentially editing it for a younger audience.

I’ll have to get on purchasing the English versions before those (potentially) disappear as well.

Well... I found this is kinda silly and annoying. And disrespectful to the original series. They only do it to make some people curious about the "revised versions", to earn more money and to sell the new book more (not say it as a bad thing tho, it is a job of course), but I think under age people don't "have to" watch or read it even if they have "interest", they don't have to be thought "that much" even if for the money. That's way revisions are not necessary for the series.

I was thinking to get that "complete volume" but now I don't know what I'm going to encounter with. Because I loved the original, not a cropped thing. Shame.

Why censor the original version when they can just make a family-friendly version in its own book and sell that on its own? That way people can have both an adults only version and a teen-friendly version without the need to alter the original in any way. This just seems stupid.

I wonder if the English re-release will be the censored version as well.

This feels weird; if the film is 15+, why would you edit the manga to make it appropriate for people *under* 15 too?
