Yeah another one off chump for goku and crew to beat, cant wait. And he might be sayain as well;lord knows we need more of those guys from that race that was thought to be almost extinct flying around. Was kinda hoping id be something like bardock father of goku was and be full backstory but i guess i was wrong. There probably going to throw on a few bits and pieces of backstory to try to "flesh out" this character :/.

Well, the visuals, at least, will be excellent. Interesting new style.

Less details, more movement. I'm seeing this trend becoming more popular (Studio Trigger, Pokemon Sun & Moon), and I can only say that I'm happy about this. This was something Dragonball needed and thus has the potential to offer the best Dragonball Fights so far.

Looks absolutely beautiful!! Exactly what I wanted Dragon Ball to look like. This character design surpasses even the highest points of Dragon Ball Z.

It seems that with the advent of digital animation came the challenge of making characters look like they have some real effort and detail put into them, with digital linework and paints creating a plastic feel. My opinion is that modern animators should abandon all effort to make detailed digital art, an archaic remnant of the past, and to instead "go all in" with smooth animation using methods like smears and high framerate action. It's also important to retain that "anime look" using a minimum of two-tone shading and retention of proper body proportions during movement. That's exactly what I see in this trailer and I love it so very much.

Naohiro Shintani is basically the best thing to happen to Dragon Ball in its animation history.

Please don’t minimize the incredible work that was done on 130 along with the rest of Super’s numerous sakuga highlights. A lot of top-tier talent has worked on this series both new and old.

That said, this looks amazing and is a bold, confident statement on why Super has to “end” this week.

Best time to be a Dragon Ball fan!

Such glorious fluid animation. If I didn't know better already, I could be mistaken in thinking it was being directed by Masaaki Yuasa. May this movie hopefully be the best entry to come out of Dragon Ball yet.

I've always felt Broly was underserved as a character, and it's far more interesting when your antagonist can express himself and has goals. If they want to pay off the hype, not only is it Broly, but a Broly capable of more than screaming "Kakarrot."

People who want new style of animation never were a big fans of the original works, or just don't realize how much it'll change the way Anime feels (then again, Super already is one gigantic example, but this one will go even.... FUuuURTHERRrrrR.... BEYOOOOOND!!!!).

Dragon Ball should've been never "resurrected", it should've stayed dead as a classic that inspired an insane amount of people and not just artists. Now, because of Super, it's its own shadow, at best.

Money is more important than honor, right, Toei? Wink

Broly was supposed to give an impression of an insane monster, and the animators showed that well.
Stop with the stupid idea that every single character has to have some expanded character development.

I'm certain its not Broly, also I hate how people and the video games portray Broly as a mindless idiot that can only scream "kakarrot". It's like they never seen the first movie. He didn't talk much but when he did its clear that there's some kind of intelligence there. It wasnt until the second movie that he lost his mind and could only scream goku's birth name.
