Hi,
I am looking for a specific Ghost in the Shell song and I own all 7 soundtracks for GITS but cant seem to find it, I have: Original movie OST Innocence Soundtrack Solid State Society Soundtrack All 4 Soundtracks spanning over the 2 SAC seasons. There is one song I appear to be missing and it is bugging me. It is mostly played in 2nd Gig, in the later episodes. It is a strings (violin heavy) and also has a beat sort of like "torkia" on GITS soundtrack 4 It is most predominantly heard on the final episode of the 2nd gig. Episode Name is: Endless Gig and the time the song is played is from: 16:48-19:42 If anyone could help me determine what this song is and if it is on a CD I could buy I would greatly appreciate it. Should be a fun little challenge, I have already exhausted the internet seraches... Thanks! |

It's from OST 4. The weird thing about it, though, is that OST 4 has no separate tracks. It's a giant 49-minute track with no breaks and is simply called "smooth in the shell (no break disc)." It starts at 13:31 on the OST if you care to try and rip it.

Hey Tony, Talk about long time no talk!! Thanks for the tip, I just found this Wikipedia page and I am missing that CD called "Smooth in the shell" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_of_Ghost_in_the_Shell:_Stand_Alone_Complex#Stand_Alone_Complex_O.S.T.4 According to that page for the GITS SAC series I own: 1. Stand Alone Complex O.S.T. 2. be Human 3. Stand Alone Complex O.S.T. 2 4. Stand Alone Complex O.S.T. 3 5. Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society O.S.T. But NOT Stand Alone Complex O.S.T.4 I was counting Be human as an OST but it isn't, you are right I am missing one! Dude, thank you very nice find! Now I gotta buy that! Seriously thanks man! I've been trying to find the dramatic music that plays during the 2nd gig episode when spoiler[kuze attempts his assassination of the prime minister before jumping throught the roof]!

I have been trying to find the song on GITS SAC 2nd gig Episode 11 Affection the song when she leaves the shop after saying that the girl was still looking for the first boy she ever loved and she dropped the ball down the stairs. I cant seem to find out what that songs name is so I can find it to buy it and download it. If anyone can help me that would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Anyone know the name of the track that plays in Gits SAC 2nd gig episode 5 towards the end during the assassination attempt on the PM? There's a few tracks like this that appear to be missing when you google the osts. I used to have a file, don't know where from though and it's gone now
