Hmmm...I've been wanting to ask this question a long time...
On all forums i've been, this is the only forum that doesnt seem to allow signatures. Why is that? Why isnt there a signature feature allowed? |

I have been on other forums where they do allow signatures, I don't think ANN would want people to be posting the f-word on every single one of their posts thanks to the signature feature. I've seen some pretty bad ones out there and I think that it is better not to have an extra feature.

The main reasons for not allowing signatures are for the clean look and quick loading times. I generally prefer forums that have no signatures or very small signatures at the most for the clean look.

So, cant the signatures just be a bunch of text? I know how much almost everyone HATES sigs that take waaayy too much time to download...
Maybe it can have a filter or something...  to stop swears, bad words and stuff...

They have been gone for close to 4 years Dan42 explains in this topic why they were disable. It all comes back to a cleaner looking board.
