What is the difference between the normal Trinity Blood DVDs and the Special Edition?

I'm sorry, I meant is there any difference in terms of what's on the DVD. Is there any difference in The footage? Are there deleted scenes, diffferent content, more running time? I'm not asking about what comes in the box set, but rather whats on the DVD itself. Is there a difference?

Oh, I think the footage for both of the DVD releases is the same, but the limited edition box comes with a few extras.

There is no difference in additional footage or DVD extras between the two versions. The LE simply comes with tangible extras such as the cool slipcover with artwork, the case being foldable (not sure what they're called) instead of a regular keep case, and I think they come with tarot cards and a little character/production book.

I believe they are called Digipaks. The tarot cards include 4 major arcana cards in the first two volumes, so I believe that you will have a full set by the last volume. They come in a resealable bag, so you can keep them safe unlike most of the Funimation postcards which come in bags that don't reseal or no bag. The books are 24 pages and are of similar quality as the FMA inserts. I noticed that the first volume (haven't watched the second yet) that the DVD has some issue with it's blacks. There seems to be horizontal streaks of a lighter greyish color in the blacks. Maybe my brightness might be set a bit high since I seem to be the only one who seems to have issues with Anime Works' blacks (flickering) as well. Anyone else notice it? Usually Funimation has some of the best video transfers, so I was a bit disappointed

The only thing I can add is that the Digipaks look like they will have artwork on the spines if you collected all of them (if you line them up with each other one direct it seems to be making a picture and if you switch them around they make second picture on the other side).
