I first tried this on the General Anime Questions Thread and now I'm trying it out in the wider world, so to speak.
I was watching S-cry-ed and on the final disc of the Anime Legends version of the box set, in the Extras, there is a part called Sound Drama #2. The entire thing is about Ryuho and Kazuma trying to get each other's names pronounced/memorized correctly with Mimori and Scheris rolling their eyes  and beating their heads against the nearest wall because the boys are "bakas".
Ryuho says this line:
Now, I know that Midorikawa Hikaru was the VA for Ryuho and for Heero Yui. But, after checking the Encyclopedia and doing a Seach, all I came up with for Ryuichi Kawamura was that he was Staff (Storyboard) on Solty Rei. Now, since I'm fairly certain that SR came out after S-cry-ed, what the hell is the connection between Midorikawa Hikaru and Ryuichi Kawamura Thanks! |

They're undoubtedly referring to a different Kawamura Ryuichi, the singer from Luna Sea, not the storyboard artist you found in ANN's Encyclopedia.

Ah HA!
Thank you very much, Abunai! Even though I didn't get the Ryuichi Kawamura part, I did get the Heero Yui referance and thought that was pretty funny! |
