I think it's completely CG, characters included. Also, am I the only one who gets the feeling that the vocalist of angela is able to sing well, but chooses not to? Every time I hear a song of theirs, it just doesn't sound good. |

Okay, CGI work for the mech, I like it.
Holy crap does it not work for human, not at all. There not at the bottom of the uncanny valley, but there definitely stepping a foot in it. |

Though I know if she(or the band I guess) are involved the show will probably be bad. Hey! I'm just saying. Every show that she happen to do a song for is a show I was unable to get into. |

Atsuko of Angela is one of the most capable and passionate vocalists singing for anime. I've seen Angela 3 times live (dedicated concert on December 30 2012 plus Animelo Summer Live 2013 and Animax Musix 2013) and really enjoyed them along with many of the other acts. That doesn't mean that anyone else will necessarily like their music or that the anime that they sing for will be great (e.g. Coppelion was lacking although I found the theme songs good and appropriate to the story), but Atsuko is a still a great singer. As usual, a lot of material gets taken down from youtube, but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hS9C-Um4rXQ 君の知らない物語 (Kimi no shira nai monogatari) Anime: Bakemonogatari ED is one example of how capable Angela are. I'd be interested to know who you consider good singers of music for anime. |

What does that mean? Why would anybody choose not to sing well?
I have never heard a song of theirs that does not sound good. Atsuko is my favorite vocalist. Right now I have 75 of their songs on my MP3 player and I listen to them two or three times every week. (I do not listen to all of them every time.) It is just a matter of personal taste.
That did not seem right, but I checked their credits and I have to agree. I have not seen all of those shows, but most of those that I have seen are shows that I could not get interested in. However, Stellvia is one of my favorites and that is the show that introduced me to Angela. When I heard those songs I instantly fell in love with them. |

Thanks for replying. I do enjoy the music of several composers and singers that are used in anime, and groups like Angela are certainly not forgettable J-pop. |
