A little surprised by Arpeggio. Probably KanColle is helping to draw it upwards in charts.
Non Non Biyori on the other hand wasn't much of a surprise. Actually, I expected it to score even higher...

Arpeggio is just a sign of the upcoming behemoth Kantai Collection will be when it airs later this year. 30-40k isn't out of the question IMO...

Wow... Didn't see Samurai Flamenco up there, which is a bit disappointing... Hopefully, Kill la Kill gets a lot of sales

What I've heard of the latest of it, not exactly surprised. Though not following it myself, but read some rather angry posts about the plot developments...

I'm not surprised by Arpeggio being up there. Love the shit out of that series, which begs to ask what the hell is up with getting North America license on it?

That's a big "ouch" for SamFlem, but I'm very pleased by Non Non Biyori's and Arpeggio's numbers, those were among my favorite anime for the Fall season. Now that Arpeggio has come first, I'm kind of wary of how I'll react to KanColle, I really liked the design work and direction of Arpeggio and was impressed by what they were able to do with CG animation for a TV series. If that's the direct it takes, with steady improvement, it might just work for mechanically-inclined series. Judging from all the doujinshi, I'm not really impressed with the types of characters present in KanColle.

I actually cancelled my pre-order for the third volume. While the first half was excellent it doesn't seem like it's worth my money to buy the Megazord episodes and have a complete series. I guess many people wouldn't want to really own the Blu-Rays either.

not a good anime and this week has too many competitions for them. Some weeks you can be #1 with 5k, not this week.

Sounds like you have the full data for this week. Mind sharing it here?

SamFlem is getting what it deserves. It had a good premise and story, was going down that path and then someone in the writing staff was like, "hey guys, I know it's good, but lets make it really really shitty," and rather than that person be laughed out of the room and removed from the series, all the other writers nodded their head in agreement.

Mania(the site where I get my sales info) is currently down, so I can't post a source.
I'll just list the Autumn series to save space.
**8 -- 11,980 *11,980 *1 IS<Infinite>2 Vol.2
*16 -- *9,073 **9,073 *1 Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio ~Ars Nova~ Vol.1
*17 -- *7,546 **7,546 *1 Non Non Biyori Vol.1
*34 -- *3,943 **3,943 *1 Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai Vol.1
*40 -- *3,374 **3,374 *1 WHITE ALBUM2 Vol.1
*52 -- *1,776 **1,776 *1 Tokyo Ravens Vol.1
*53 -- *1,770 **1,770 *1 BLAZBLUE ALTER MEMORY Vol.1
*54 -- *1,766 **1,766 *1 Freezing Vibration Vol.1
*55 -- *1,748 **1,748 *1 Yuushibu. Vol.1
*59 -- *1,718 **1,718 *1 Tesagure! Bukatsumono Vol.1
*61 -- *1,534 **1,534 *1 Walkure Romanze Vol.1
*74 -- *1,098 **1,098 *1 Golden Time Vol.1
*75 -- *1,082 **1,082 *1 NouCome Vol.1
*92 -- **,795 ***,795 *1 Gingitsune Vol.1
Anything that did not rank sold below 672 BD's.
The week after that is pretty much a exact copy of this list, only with lower sales. Since we did not have any new releases that week(a bunch of the lower ranking v1's did not get a 2nd week though).

Seeing Gingitsune's numbers reminds me that there's plenty of shows that aren't bad, just the kind that people only want to watch once.

Ouch.
I enjoyed Gingitsune and can't say Golden Time is bad either. Hopefully it at least impacted positively on the light novel and manga sales of the respective series.
