Sekkou Boys Genres: Comedy Themes:: Music, Art Plot Summary: A unit of four stone figures — the military saint and group leader Saint Giorgio, history's original celebrity Medici, the strikingly handsome and multi-talented Hermes, and the god of war Mars who is earnest about love — who become idiosyncratic idols. The story depicts their efforts to make it in the entertainment world with their female manager Miki Ishimoto, who just graduated from college. ---------------------------------- Episode 1: I had a funny feeling about this show from the beginning and looks like I wasn't entirely wrong. The animation is 2D and feels normal until we get to the Greek statue part in the second half. Then my mind went "huh?" Will stick around to see more of those glorious statues. |

Episode 9
I never thought I'd laugh at an implication that a character had to basically prostitute to save their idol group's reputation, but Sekkou Boys doesn't play fair. Sure, the after credits scene showed something but by then I'd already laughed. |
