I'm as well in all honesty, on the plus side this is "crappy gift" to give your friends that have a cat.

Couple of problems with this:
It is white. It is not going to stay that way.
You are not going to be able to enjoy the look. Most times, kitty litter boxes are placed in areas out of sight. Due to odors and tracking problems.
Still, it looks nice. Guess if you are truly dedicated or have OCD, you could keep it white for awhile. Curious about those cardboard or pressboard inserts. Wonder if there for odor control?

Well at least someone knows something about these things to harp in. I'm sure it wasn't going to last for long.
