Looks like the bookstore doesn't have the guts to keep Kuroko's merchandise like the other bookstores.

That seems to be the case with most japanese companies..

They are all managed by a bunch of morons..

You're not the only one. I can't believe this, doing that is like surrendering your country to a enemy. Mad

Okay, I'm clearly missing something. Why are people threatening this manga in the first place? What's so harmful about this series that leads people to wanting to cause pain to others?

Are you guys for real?? A guy threatens to HARM people, and you would just laugh it off or something? Not to mention the article states that the liquid mailed WAS PROBABLY FATAL. Yeah, that's VERY cowardly of a bookstore to try and protect their customers :/ I'm actually surprised some of the stores DID shrug it off, though. These people are insane and you never know if they are bluffing, joking, serious, or whatever.

You know the stuff that's happened in America, right? One big event only earlier this year? Yeah, America would not take someone lightly like that if it happened here. All the stores would go on lockdown or something. I'm only surprised they haven't caught the person/people responsible for it all, though.

I don't really see it as them being coward etc. They are taking precautionary measures for the sake of their employees and customers. While others may see it as giving in to the criminal who is threatening, I see it as Japanese companies not having confidence towards the police that they have to take action on their own.

Well you see they are doing exactly like this guy wants. That's the reason why this keeps on happening.

I honestly can't blame them. The Japanese police must be bumbling idiots, and I wouldn't place my customers lives in their hands. I don't want to sound like some patriotic idiot, but I am certain that if this were happening in America, it would have been stopped within 3-4 months, tops.

What I'd love to know is, what is this dude's beef with Kuroko's Basketball? I don't get it. It's an ordinary sports manga, and the creator doesn't seem to stand out particularly much. I'd understand if this were someone/thing more high-profile and/or a manga that were more controversial like Death Note, but... basketball?

This person is going through a lot of trouble just to cause this one series a lot of grief. The only thing left is to threaten Weekly Shonen Jump to pull the series.

The original terrorist has a personal grudge against the author, and allegedly blames the author for ruining his life. Why he's resorting to these methods I don't know.
