I think I might pass out from the excitement. This immediately makes up for the lack of anime content at last year's NYCC. Best birthday present ever...
What does this mean for EVA-related guests? Sadamoto? Sagisu? Utada? Any of the voice actors? Anno? I need to get my eyepatch ready. |

and what about L.A?..... the AX is getting good events, panels and guests but good anime movies should also take priority, last year comicon got the berserk movie, but not the anime expo....

AX is getting the Blue Exorcist movie, and while it may not be as big as Eva it's nothing to sneeze at either. |

Normally I could care less about comic-con.
But this just sounds too awesome, I've been on day trips to NYC before so this might be doable. |

I could not really quite get into that show, quality wise its good it just does not float my boat for some reason..... kinda like kekaishi good quality but meh in the long run. I can understand that its not my age demographic but the AX people must realize that 3.0 is kinda a big deal. http://blueexorcist.com/themovie/ -____-, my point exactly. I suppose funimation will give it a theatrical run as well.... |

If ya guys gonna get passes, get it soon. Last year, all passes sold out a month before the con. This year, passes will probably sell-out sooner. The VIP, 4-day, and 3-day passes are already sold out. |

Wow! I've never been to this con. How much is the attendance usually? |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Comic_Con#Location_and_dates Not counting Free Kids Day Sunday passes, ~116,000 aggregate attendance last year. This year now that the Javits Convention Center construction is over, there'd be an additional 90,000 square feet to cram more people in. Beware Saturday is especially sardines - it takes some time just to go from one end of the showroom floor to the other end.......... though along the way it's fun trying to see if ya can recognize some of the working booth babe cosplayers (like Jessie Pridemore) so it's not all tedious. |

I'm not going to hold my breath on this one. Panels have been getting harder and harder to get into. Depending on my work schedule attending, then trying to find time for lunch, then combat the long lines to get in the bathrooms and hope that nothing conflicts with a certain program I'll be lucky I even get a chance to see it.

I am soooo tired of the continuing attempts to beat life into this sad flop of a series. Please let this lousy piece of junk die peacefully.

It's only a flop if it doesn't make money. Guess what Evangelion makes. |

Mike McFarland and Spike Spencer confirmed to attend NYCC...
Perhaps the English dub will premiere there? |
