lol, I was just about to say you're hard to please, because I remembered this post here -- http://animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=23981
but it was by another Hikaru. To answer your question, no, my advice would be keep checking the link given in the post http://www.funimationfilms.com/theaters.html |

Oh, did someone mention moi?
Yippee! I'm happy now! @hikaru393: Thursdays are when the movie theaters update their schedules for the next week. So if you don't see a change at the funimationfilms.com theater page by Thursday evening or Friday morning , then it probably won't be in anymore theaters. |

In theatres is great, but it is at a very small amount of theatres. This anime looks great, I am highly anticipating it. When are they going to release on DVD? There has been no word of that.

Browsing through AOD's upcoming release page (http://www.animeondvd.com/releases/releases_by_date.php), it'll street on 9/5. Speaking of its theatrical release, this will be the third time the Wash., DC metro area is bypassed. I guess there isn't one theater that is willing to show such a limited release, or Funi just doesn't have the money to squeeze a showing into theaters here. |

I still think that having these on at midnight or just a little earlier is rediculous simply because of the fact that it is too late. I understand that this is obviously for those over 17, but even some of us do not want to go out that late at night.
Vash_the_Stamp3d3: Nice icon that's Wolfwood right? Fanart? |

You all do know that this is just episodes 1-4 stuck together, right? It has no new content.

damn wish they could get more theaters then just CO,CA since that's pretty much all they have and they said it would expand all across the world.

Anyone want to take the bet that, the film comes to Oregon, but not to Eugene?
Well, I need a good excuse to go to Portland to watch a movie. Which will cost more the gas to get up there and back, or the popcorn when I walk in? I hope it's the gas! So when was the last time you saw an anime on screen? It was GITS for me. |

Yeah, I know. It also will cost me more in gas then buying the DVD and viewing it at home or renting it since Chicago is a 3 hour drive for me. But if you don't support it when it's in your area, you won't get another shot at seeing anime in your area, unless you are in New York or Los Angeles. |
