I wish the series could have lasted a little longer it was a great show but to short by short I mean there was a lot more things that could have happend in the series. So much more to find out.
 The crew dident conect as well as they could have but that is my opinyin not every one elsis.

i think it was good that the show ended when it did, although like you said i think the show couldve used better character development. i loved this series so i definitely wanted more but i think if they did anymore it would be mindless filler eps. as for now i just hope that the manga is released sometime soon.

Just in case anyone is interested. Outlaw Star will be released under the Anime Legends logo in a box set on March 28th. The MSRP seems to be $49.95. I think Right Stuf is going to sell it for about $37.95. So, if you've been wanting to pick up this title, here's your chance!

I already own the outlaw star box set.While i tend to agree that perhapse it was a bit to short,and the character evolution/developement could have been better,all in all it was a good anime and worth buying.

Well all in all a great show. I found the dub great.
I think it eneded just right and i found the fillers great as well both comdey, action and story wise. The only flaw is that the ending is unconvincing. Gene just practicaly comes and shoots this and that. They should have get better choreographed action thats all. |

Angel Links is the spinoff to Outlaw Star. It was not nearly as good and was just basically in the same *universe* as Outlaw Star... really need to pick this up (OS) when the Legends version gets the release at the end of the month.

I recomend the old box. It's 10 bucks more but it is way cooler than the ugly red one.

Heh heh. I have the box set of Outlaw Star. It pwned my face off. I absolutely loved it, especially episodes 20-26. They were all awesome. Highly recommend the series to anyone who hasn't seen it. I don't think they should've stretched the series any longer, myself. It was perfect pacing as it was. |

I liked the series when it was on television, but I loved when I bought the set and got to see it uncut. It really is 5 times better than the hacked up CN version. I wouldn't mind a movie or OVA or something myself, not a whole series though as I thought Outlaw Star ended rather well.

for sure im getting that new boxset
Outlaw star owned back in the earlier years of my Otaku-ness haha sort of sad with the extras but w/e 40bucks is a bargin!
