I was just wondering if anyone knew of any bookstores here in the U.S. that carries Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump. I know where to get the monthly American Jump, but I'd really like to get my hands on the Japanese weekly. Thanks in advance!

You'll probably have to order it online or find a really really really REALLY REALLY good specialty shop. I know Waldenbooks carries some japanese manga, but I've never heard of anywhere that has Japanese Jump.

I believe animeten was offering import subscription. It's pretty expensive though. I think it was 90 dollar for like 3 month.

As for in store, I highly doubt most store carry them simply because there's not a lot of japanese manga reading people in the U.S. You can try Kinokuniya, if there's one in your area.

If you live in Los Angeles, stop by Little Tokyo. The japanese supermarket I use work at in Lil Tokyo, had shonen jump and other anthology at the magazine section and they're like 5 or 4 buck per book.

Depending on where you live, you might be able to find a Japanese bookstore like Kinokuniya, Asahiya, Sanseido or the like. They will have the latest Japanese periodicals like weekly Jump, but you have to live in a major metropolitan area like NY, LA, etc. to get to a store.
