so japan, you want to use NYC in your movie and call it NEW TORK City Huh?, and have genesect laser a building eh? well i got a deal for you japan.. you give us the team rocket vs plasma 2 parter that you banned from airing because of your earthquake, and well let this attack on NY slide.. hows that japan?

That's wrong, though, spoilers incoming;

spoiler[The Mewtwo in the new movie is a totally different Mewtwo, not the same one from the first movie. This Mewtwo is more feminine, and had further experimentation done on it, hence the speedier new form it has. Also, since Ash doesn't seem to recognize it.]

Interesting name this city has. Perhaps the name came from the word torque, which has to do with measuring rotation?
Anyhow, I'm sure that Genosect will put up quite a challenging battle against Ash and crew.

For what it's worth, that took place in Unova, which was based on the state of New York.

It sucks that Shiny Genesect won't make it to America, by the time Gen 6 comes out.

If I may ask, why does ANN refer to this movie as "Extremespeed Genesect" instead of "Godspeed Genesect?" The name "Extremespeed" is from the English localization of Pokemon Gold/Silver-, while the Japanese original name is "Shinsoku" which means Godspeed and if memory serves, the English title hasn't had the same name as the Japanese original since the 1st movie, which was only in the poster for the Japanese release of the 1st movie. It's technically called "Mewtwo's Counterattack" but "Mewtwo Strikes Back" is a decent translation. Just wondering.
