I think your article should say "July 13-14" instead of "June 13-14".

Monsters University really hurt Pokemon, here. By the looks of how fast that film is gaining so much money in Japan, it may just surpass Monster's Inc and reach the 10 billion yen mark, which is a bad thing. I loved the original and I'm a hardcore Pixar fan, but that movie is not Monsters. Doesn't feel like Monsters either. Hope Pokemon and Gintama knock it out of 1st place soon and I HAT Gintama and Pokemon.

It will be knocked out of first place (and overshadowed) very quickly...but not by Gintama or Pokemon. ^^

It's not the same Mewtwo than the first Pokémon movie - it's a different Mewtwo.

@Kutsu No, I don't want that movie to top Monsters, but it almost certainly will. His films have been sucking, since Howl's Moving Castle. This one will suck as well, most likely.

The latest Ghibli film Kaze Tachinu (The Wind Rises) has been getting mixed reviews, that younger audience finding it boring but adults liking it.
