I fully agree... Maybe it's just the art style, but I was expecting full-on Naota sound. I haven't had a chance to watch Naruto yet, so I haven't heard this guy until now. I'm not really diggin it.

man...i've been waiting for the new Bones series to come out...i've caught few epds here on Japanese TV and it kicked ass....good mecha design and lots of action....you can tell they put lot of budget into this one.....
although i'm digging Godannar and Tetsujin 28, it's always good to have another mech series to come....
now...if someone just license Bleach and Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase, i'll die happy.....

The voice was so mature it almost sounded like one of those cliched "older self talking about younger self" kind of things...now if that really is Renton's voice...that's going to sound a wee bit goofy...

I was totally thinking the exact same thing.

Ah, I seem to lead towards your opinion as well. Mr. Yuri Lowenthal is a great voice actor.

Really? It didn't sound good to me at all. In fact, it sounded to me exactly like someone reading an audiobook.

i guess you have a point he kinda sounds monotone but still i think his voice would be good for other characters

this is a quote from another forum i'm on -- "the voice over on that trailer is not the voice for Renton. I assume they meant it to be an adult version of him telling about himself as a kid. His real voice will sound much younger."

does anyone know when volume 1 is being released in the US? I know they've only released up to episode 15 in Japan, it seems like they're really rushing to get this one onto DVD.
