It is coming... Eventually. I still have no idea how the hell this can jam the entire second season into one series. I really hope that they decide to split it up. |

actually its a double cour season at like 24 episodes i believe so yeah they pulled out a long one for monogatari second season! |

And yes, 26 episodes! Should be enough. Most people seem to forget that Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari were both two-part novels and more pages than most of the remaining books so by page count it should be fine to do 4-5 episodes/book for the 6 books of Second Season. Then we'll need the Kizu movie and another one cour probably or more movies or 4-episode specials like Neko Kuro to finish off the last few books. |

I know it is 24 episode slots, but when you think of all they have to cram into it when Bakemonogatari was one book and took 15 episodes... I'm scared. |

None of these parts are as long as Bakemonogatari. The pages per episode average is a bit higher, but not ridiculous. |

26 episodes... Bakemonogatari is TWO books not one. So was Nisemonogatari, two books. Bakemonogatari books are the longest... people must learn to read what has already been said, not just write. Compared to most novel adaptations, Monogatari has a very low page count adapted per episode. Do not worry... Minus atogaki this time... 1st season Bake 443p + 399p = 842 pages in 15 episodes = 56p/ep Nise 319p + 321p = 640 pages in 11 episodes = 58p/ep Kizu 355p 2nd season Neko Kuro 305p in 4 episodes = 76p/ep Neko Shiro 289p Kabuki 338p Hana 268p Otori 281p Oni 273p Koi 276p Total 1725p in 26 episodes = 66p/ep So barely higher page count per episode than Nisemonogatari, less than Nekomonogatari Kuro which is actually the first novel in the 2nd season. By contrast, many light novel adaptations do hundreds of pages per episode, some do a whole novel in one episode! |

I think people are confused. I don't think they actually mean that all of the books adapted in a second season will all be crammed into 26 episodes. I think they meant that all the individual series they will adapt for each book will come together to make a second season.
