The CEO of Crypton Future Media, one of the creators of Vocaloids announced on Hatsune Miku’s Facebook page that he will donate all moneys collected from purchases of Vocaloid music from their KarenT.jp music store from the 16th. March to the 15th. April.

Every piece of music can be sampled and there is a wide and eclectic mix of styles and genres for all tastes which can be purchased from iTunes, AmazonMP3, or Hear Japan.

I have already purchased 5 albums and counting.

My favourite albums are from artists:
36g: The Raingazer's Song.
AVTechNO: Everything he has produced.
Natarie In The Dream: Colors, and Beautiful Dreamer
OneRoom: ToyBox, and Resound.
Sei-Peridot: Everything she has produced.
Tripshots: Everything he has produced.
TokoP: aka HeadPhoneTokyo.com, Everything he has produced.
Wintermute: Best flailing of a Telecaster I have heard in many years. Everything he has produced.

My only regret is that my car CD player will only play three discs at a time.
Wink

It's an awesome way to contribute. I just wish I hadn't bought a bunch of singles before this.... Luckily, avtechno! recently released his III and Dye-Synthesis-2/8 singles. I'm pretty much forced to buy more songs now. (My iTunes is filled to the brim with his singles....)

Oh and hey, my recommended albums (or singles) to try out from the KarenT label are:
avtechno!: Sixnine - Single, Plus/Space - Single
DATEKEN: D.A. Technology
emon(Tes.): 7 days - Single
feiP: An Album of Tears (it's more cheery than the title suggests)
ryuryu: Homeland (Trees In Our Homeland is especially breathtaking)
MentaiRocker: Nude (for the hard rocker inside us)

Those should cover a few bases.

By the way, the iTunes Store is also being used as a transfer for donations to the American Red Cross helping Japan. So again, lots of options for ways to donate.
