I've never watched/read RoV, but this is so cool! I'll enjoy seeing if her style has changed at all.

Do want.
Once again, I would just like to state my eternal gratitude to Nozomi for bringing the anime to America. Hey, Toei, when, if ever, are we getting that RoV movie that was announced, oh, 6 years ago? |

We've got the anime on the way, all thanks to Kleckner and Nozomi. Eternal gratitude to them! Now, all we need is the manga! Such a seminal work of shoujo! Ikeda seems to be more comfortable with her work being released over here, so couldn't somebody snatch it up...?
Heck, I'd love an import of some of the Takarazuka performances! Perhaps the Flower Troop's? In any case, very excited to see her return to the world of RoV, very curious to see what the story might be~ |

I hope it will be published in Italy, too!

It has a bit, this panel is from a bonus two-volume series she made for RoV in 1984 (unless the info's incorrect). Since that was over 20 years ago her art might be different for this one, too... Edit: Can't believe I forgot about this one, it's the album cover for THE ALFEE's 30th Anniversary. It's the most recent illustration I've seen by her and it's still very similar to her seventies style. Last edited by sepherest on Thu Apr 18, 2013 7:41 am; edited 1 time in total |

I wish somebody would license the Rose of Versailles manga. I wonder if doing a kickstarter for it would work.
