Nice. Great show and I was thinking for sure that it wasn't going to get licensed. Thanks TRSI.

WOW!!!! Now I never would have expected this show to be picked up. I can't wait to watch it in big time stereo.
Guess the sort of obscure titles are finally getting noticed.

I dunno, any licensing news fails to surprise me anymore, no matter how obscure a show might be. For this, it was only a matter of time.

And treating them right, more importantly.

Indeed especially with the fact they're remastering To Heart.

I realize that "2x2=Shinobuden" is an untranslatable pun, but sorry, this one kinda hurts.

Do you think that by calling it "Ninja Nonsense" they're going to tame the show up a bit and market it to kids? That could be an even bigger letdown.

do i wanna know why they're changing the title?
other shows don't get title change with names like Azumanga Daioh, Ai Yori Aoshi, Haibane Renmei, Rurouni Kenshin, and Saiyuki to name a few......

Given that it's RightStuf, and my prior experience with them shows a rather huge amount of care taken with their acquisitions, I somehow doubt that. Not everyone is 4Kids and not everyone is out to "destroy" anime, y'know.

Shinobuden's full title is "2x2=Shinobuden: The Nonsense Kunoichi Fiction". A Kunoichi is a female ninja. It's not like they've pulled this title from nowhere, they've just taken the part of it which will actually make sense to the average western audience.
