+$200,000?!

Even if it does get it on the New York Times BSL, are you really going to make that back based on the ranking alone? Or is this really just for ego?

Not to mention beyond setting up Groupon deals, they basically just told him to do things that aren't really... well that inventive.

I mean its like going to some one for advice on how to do your taxes and they tell you, put it in a Caribbean islands account. Well gee thanks...

The best part there is no real way to prove that their services are worth the money, because you can't really quantify how many more sales you made because of being on the New York Times BSL, or if you wouldn't have ended up on it anyway!

Not sure anyone should be surprised by this if a cook book can be #2 along with a book by Snookie, it's proof the NYBSL is full of shit.

Eh, it's a sales campaign. Anime and manga have been doing that for years. So what else is new?

I know i don't honestly get the shocking bit here. Its called adverstising. Hardly an amazing revelation. Releasing a book with no advertising means it won't sell. Spend alot of money on getting the word out there and there is a chance it will.

I didn't think Snooki could write more than 3 words in a row.
