I know this might sound random, but any idea when you guys plan to put up Atomcat for pre-order? It comes out in May (according to Amazon), with two other things I want (one of them being Rose of Versailles), and I'd want to include that in my order. Because the Rose of Versailles listings said that in stock items would be held up for them. Actually, now that it's been updated, it doesn't say that on the first set.

To the best of my knowledge, Atomcat hasn't been solicited to us yet. We'll check with Digital Manga and see what's up. As for Rose of Versailles, that policy is actually true for all of our pre-order items, not just RoV. Orders ship out when all items are in stock (though we may, at our option, send out partial shipments at no additional cost to you). You can also contact Customer Care at any time and ask for all your currently in-stock items to be shipped for a small additional fee. |

I recently contacted customer care about shipping out an item that was made with a pre-order product. I was told that the item would be "released" for shipment, but I wasn't informed of a charge. Would I have been charged without being told?

Soo, say I were to pre-order four things.
The first comes out late Feb The second and third come out in May (1 week apart) The last comes out whenever Rose of Versailles 2's date is set What are the odds that the Feb and May things would be shipped early? It seems like whenever I order manga (pre-order or not, they always seem to take longer to come in), it's like I get a partial shipment after 2 weeks, then every week thereafter until it's all here. Would everything here be held until RoV2 or likely come earlier than that? |

We really can't make any guarantees. Partial shipments depend on a number of factors, including how busy our warehouse is and how long the order has been in our system. That's why we suggest grouping pre-orders by street date if you're worried about when your card gets charged or getting your items as soon as they're available. |

Yeah, the system really confuses me, I just don't see how it can randomly hold in-stock items for 1-2 weeks, then just ships at a random time regardless of the next item available, even if it's only a day before the next item comes out. Example: Part of my order that includes early-shipping Feb. releases processed today, but doesn't include Negima 37 which is also showing as in-stock as of today. |
