As someone who has seen Orphen: Revenge.... I can let you know it has nothing to do with anything before the original season. What it IS is a follow-on from the first season. It takes a minor point from the first and expands it.

Also, I noticed that in Revenge the animation quality went WAY down... and when orphen casts a spell he gets a background behind him for when he is casting it. Other interesting oddities... the main action music is a heavy rock beat.
