Actually, there's strong hints in the toy merchandising that it might actually be a Heartcatch sequel. We'll have to wait and see.
Half of the colors still match, and the flyers explicitly say that the existing heart seeds will work in the new toys. |

I cite two reasons why this is very likely a sequel to HeartCatch Precure!:
1) The Heart Seeds used in the current Precure toys from BANDAI work with the new toys coming February 2011. 2) Already, a number of attack names used by the current Precures already have musical motifs, including the one just unveiled in Episode 38 (and I believe the new movie). |

Do not get your hope out some of you. As some say there is a chance that it will be a sequel to Heartcatch because of the 2nd motif used in Heartcatch - musical motif: 'Forte, fortissimo and Orchestra'.
There is also that not only the Tacts can act like toys and swords (for Moonlight) but it can also be used like those sticks conductors use. Hence the Heartcatch Orchestra in episode 38. Also it has already been mentioned that the henshin items will work with Heart Seeds. Considering the 2 new colours for Suite are Orange and Green, it seems that Houko (Itsuki) and Aya (Yuri) won't be back. But Nana (Tsubomi) and Fumie (Erika) will probably be back because Pink and Blue colours are still present. |

You do know Japanese does offer alot of wordplay here and there, right? Which in many cases, is the bane of translators? For example: Kon'ya ga yama da means Tonight is crucial. Mutate it abit/mistranslate/break up/purposefully misspeak it/etc, and it can be said as Hon'ya ga yama da, or The Bookstore is crucial for example. |

It would be funny if "suite" were a playword with its French meaning, i.e. "sequel". :V

It's hard to tell Suite Precure this will be a sequel to Heartcatch Precure or not, because there's only two series that got a second season.
Evidence this is second season: - The new toys work with the old toys - The Heartcatch attacks are already musical related. Other possibilities: - New characters, but in the same Heartcatch universe. If Suite Precure would be a sequel to one of the Precure series, it's more likely to be a continuation of Fresh Precure.
Fresh Precure have more music accents than Heartcatch Precure. But I think it's much more likely to be a completely new series. |
