This proves that anime is not a very good influence on people, it promotes a very unhealthly lifestyle in obession that can be taken too far too often. A change is needed.

I realize that people not in the right of mind often do not make sense but seriously. She's a fan, but she sends a knife as a threat? A threat against what?

Sports fans gets into riots and people get killed sometimes (rarely). So all sports fans are bad and promotes unhealthy lifestyles and behaviors?
Basically you're generalizing a group because of one person actions. It's like saying all white people are fat because they're americans or all gamers are killers because a gamer killed someone. Really?

Could one of those commercials been about certain types of cutlery? You know, the ones that come out round now proclaiming it can dismantle a decommissioned aircraft carrier and still cut a tomato cleanly in half. They never quite work out that way.

Wow, even the oldschool male seiyu have to deal with kooks like this. Hopefully she takes herself out like David Letterman's stalker did.

All fat white people are fat because they are lazy and eat too much. It's fairly simple to generalise when you make it so easy.

Yes, but can you be more specific? I will agree that there are some anime that aren't good influences and promote unhealthy obsessions, I've seen it happen. But I think you're generalizing here. Not all anime is a bad influence. There are some very good anime out there that do not influence people in any way. And don't forget, some people are just plain crazy. Can you be more specific? Why do you think anime is not a very good influence? What anime do you think aren't good influences? What kind of change do you think is needed?
