Awesome... if I try to access the funimation website I get the Navarre Corporation website... thanks for being asses to those outside the US ¬¬
They could have just blocked the video content, but no, they decided that no one outside the US should have information on their shows...

I'll have to check out 'Casshern Sins'. Good to see the DVDs are coming out soon. Wait I thought 'Romeo X Juliet' was out. Unless this is a complete set.
But where the HELL is 'Shikabane Hime'????
When will there be a release date for that?

Excellent question, one I've been wondering myself. Geez, they licensed that well over a year ago now, and there's been zilch on the DVD announcement front.

This is why I should have stood up and asked that at NYAF. Because there was no announcement even there. Ah well...
*Also wanted to point out that always found you avatar a hoot.

So was Romeo x Juliet already up on Funi's page and I didn't notice until now?! That's one I definitely wanted to see, so it's on my viewing list!

That's a good question.
They've had the license for ages, and the R2's have finished being released for both series since earlier in the year.
Only reason I can think of is that they've been put off by the shows poor R2 DVD sales (something like 400 units per volume) and are waiting until they aren't releasing any similiar shows at the same time, cutting back on the internal competition.
Either that or they just like sitting on stuff.
@ Mario1234567
Phantom DVD's are still being released in Japan.
Won't be until end of March next year until they're finished.
No doubt FUNi will have to wait until they've finished and a reasonable gap is formed between releases, as is usual trend.
Can't say I agree with your dub choice for Casshern either. He's supposed to sound rather manly, formidable and confused, which is why he's so feared. Bosch can only do the cool punk 'Ichigo' voice or his bratty 'Renton'. I don't think either fits and he has never shown any signs his range is good enough to adapt to such a role.

Anyone here know why I keep getting errors with Funi's site? I try and play any video and the top portion of the (black) screen says "Error" in red. I was able to view FMA:B once though? I understand they got a silly restriction for us down south in Puerto Rico but on their main website as well!? ... at least ANN was badass enough to lift off the restrictions on almost all the videos.
I Love Funimation to death since I want to work there some day but... that's still kinda upsetting since they are loosing a batch of good viewers/fans.... plus it's kinda sucky that I can't view them when I am an American citizen. <___<;
Regardless, Peace and Love for Funi!

Can you access one of their sites (like the DBZ site, FMA site, etc.) without getting redirecting to the navarre.com/funimation page? If you're able to at least get to the video page, then I'm guessing it's that they don't have a proper POP (I think that's what it's called) for Puerto Rico, instead of a geo-blocking situation.
You should be able to watch the videos on the YT page, though. While I don't go there because I rarely have problems with FUNi's site, loads of people do. The thread over at the FUNimation Forums is constantly getting posts about errors with their Video Portal.

WTF happened to Seto no Hanayome...
They announce the license, say something about a late 2009 release and then nothing...

Still no Claymore episodes on line. I wonder if that's a licensing issue with Madhouse, or whether the show is doing so well in R1 DVD sales that they don't want to dilute them by offering it for free. While it was a pretty big hit in the fansub community, there were a fairly large number of manga readers in that audience. I don't sense that Claymore has much mindshare in the broader, DVD-buying anime audience, so you'd think a few free sample episodes might help.
Claymore didn't sell very well in Japan, as I recall. I wonder if it's doing any better in R1? (I did my part, though I'm a bit miffed that Funi doesn't feel the need to give us the DD 5.1 Japanese sound track!)

Cool. I think I'll watch a few Ah! My Goddess episodes. I saw the OVA a few years ago and couldn't get into it. But I'm willing to give the series another shot.
