A film already? WOW! I'm assuming it did quite well in Nihon. They waste no time.

The movies were announced in June.

I'm a bit confused

I remember reading before that the two movies, the The King of Eden & Paradise Lost, are sequels

For the adaptation/summary, it's something like air communications blah blah

Anyone sure which is which?

They're so quick releasing these since the story was never finished in the TV series. It was left on a huge cliff hanger, and films pick up where we left off and finish the plot.
I assume these will also be announced as licensed soon since it would be like getting half a series otherwise.

Yeah, definitely one that's a no-buy until the movies are announced as licensed. No more buying half series from Funi.

I really hope Funimation gets these as well. I can't wait for the series to come out here. *crosses fingers for blu-ray* Smile .

Poo. I was gonna go watch it while I was in Japan but now that they've pushed the date back, it won't be out yet when I'm there... Well, there's still the Macross Frontier movie at least.

I'm having no luck getting the trailer to play, but I'm very much looking forward to this regardless. The series was an utter gem, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Had to reload the page a couple of times before it would stream for me. Decent teaser, though, I definitely want to see.

This looks great! Whatever happened to the series re-cap film? Was that axed?

...and if you thought the animation in the TV series was gorgeous, this looks to be even better!

Okay, so Funimation has to 1) license these as well and 2) figure out someway to get Oasis to not be dicks and to let them use their song. Come on, Oasis, do you really want to be in the same dickish boat as bleepin' Duran Duran?

Apparently released/aired 26th Sept.
Duno if it was released in cinemas or just aired on TV.

So, does anyone have an estimate on when Funimation is going to release the series Stateside? Do you think they would bundle the series and the movies together or just release them seperately?
