Im convinced sunrise just wants to lose money. Gundam age flopped and was shit so why the hell bother making more? Infact where the hell is the origin?

Well if any Gen needed more episodes, it was Gen 2. I didn't hate AGE so I'd watch it. Obviously AGE couldn't have flopped that hard if this is being considered.

I found Gen 2 to be the most enjoyable of the 3 (never got around to finishing Gen 3 so I have no idea about that).I really liked the parts about asemu's father problems and his conflicting emotions on the war. More room to expand the characters would be nice, something the show suffered from not having. Maybe it's gonna be a manga or even an OVA. since I doubt the'd green-lit another season.

A trilogy that collects the episodes from the TV series while adding new parts? You know, just like more Sunrise shows.

Watch Gundam First/0079 the origin of all Gundam Franchise. They are probably redo Gundam 0079 sooner or later.

No words can describe how happy this makes me these are my two favorite characters in the series and Asemu's arc was the best.

I really hope its something animated and not a manga spinoff since Gundam manga never really get scanslated to completion if at all.

That is the Gundam: The Origin the original manga to its anime Gundam First/0079 (basically same thing). They are planning redoing it from scratch or another remastered I haven't have a clue when Tomino plans on putting into action. It be great....

Never understood the strong antagonism towards AGE. There's plenty of worse Gundam material out there.

Animation wise? No, not at really. And if you don't understand I'm sure its easy to find many articles about why the show is terrible.

And while 2nd gen was the least terrible, the characters were further turned to crap in gen 3 so no I really don't want anymore of their adventures.

Well at first it was all "OMG THESE CHARACTER DESIGNS ARE SO KIDDY THE SHOW WILL BE ALL KIDDY GUNDAM IS RUINED FOREVER!" when the first scans got leaked.

But now that it's actually aired, there are plenty of legitimate complaints to be had about the writing quality, especially in the later arcs. And while I don't particularly have a problem with him, everyone loves piling the hate on Kio for wanting a peaceful solution rather than Flit's "ALL VAGANS MUST DIE" approach.

Actually the origin is a remake basically of the original gundam series with stuff that was not present in the original anime and is supposedly very good (haven't read it myself though).
@sun kun there are many reasons why age is so despised...the biggest ones being:
Terrible female characters whos only purpose is to die and give birth to the protagonists babies
Terrible villians
Deus ex machina and plot holes up the wazoo.

good experiment, but it failed. Now go back to make something better. I don't mind if Gundam AGE, but it needs to be better.

I am still not into watching Age but i think i;ll eventually watch it since it's Gundam. But instead of more Age or that !@#$ how about we get origin (no news for almost 1.5 year now) and more UC like Cross Bone, CDA or even better ZZ compilation with Amuro & Char story arcs like they were originally intended.
