Ah, this brings back memories. I wonder how it'll go for this film.

Oooh, I can't wait to see this movie! It'll be a while but I am sure excited about it! Anohana's one of the sweetest and saddest animes out there. (Well aside from Clannad and Clannad After Story.) But I'm super excited about it beoming a movie!

Actually can't wait for the movie, since it looks like it won't just be an edited down retelling. I highly doubt there will be any US showings of this, but I can hope.

For once, I'm actually glad to see a movie that is mostly a re-telling, since while I enjoyed the series I think it had some serious pacing issues and thus telling the same story in a more compact way will probably make it work better, at least IMO.

And it's nice to see a bit of a different spin on things so it isn't just the television series re-cut and prettied up, ala Madoka Magica (I know some people enjoyed the movies but I just don't see the point of them).

Why is this the first I have heard of this movie?

I hope the series sold well enough over here that NIS licenses the movie as well.
