I have split opinions about this: From one side, those costumes and makeup looks awesome and stage play sounds cool.
But from other, of all manga in the world - why Ikki Tousen? (╯°□°)╯

They better have some one amazing at pyrotechnics to make all those costumes explode.
There wardrobe budget must be enormous.

Yep, if there's no exploding clothes there would be no point in this. It's not like people watched IT for the story.
That would put a whole new spin on the term "wardrobe malfunction" though...possible a dangerous one...

I was going to say that the costumes didn't look authentic enough because they were made from fabric and not tissue paper.

Ya know the manga actually developed into having a semi decent story honestly. Granted yes that was amidst the exploding clothes but still lol. The tv shows however....yea all about the T&A. My issue is half of the cast do not properly look the part in my opinion. An example would be Hakufu herself. Her face just doesn't match well I think with the character.

I don't see the point of this unless it's a stage play at a strip club. These stage plays are always funny to me. I wonder if the quality of these is like Beauty and the Beast on Broadway or more like a middle school play?

Something…something's missing in that Ryofu picture, and I don't know what…
The question at this point is what type of show hasn't been adapted into a stage play. Heck, even mecha series have gotten ones! At this rate, if hentai hasn't been tackled already…

Is she the one with the eye patch? She's my fave of the series.
What's missing is several cup sizes on every one of them.

Well the girl who is playing Ryuubi looks quite plump in the photos, unfortunately none of it happens to be in the breast area.
