Another Nari Kusakawa? I don't know what "The Phantom Guesthouse" is about, but it's going on my Must Buy list based on her prior works.

Holy shit, they actually licensed an Usamaru Furuya title.
I'll be buying 51 Ways to Save Her, for sure.

Nice job, CMX! ^____^ You licensed some very good titles so far from this convention. I'll be looking forward to them in the future..

Ditto. I'm overjoyed they can still compete with the bigger companies! Grats, guys!
I've no idea what any of these series are, but I'll definitely be checkin' 'em out!

Took the words outta my mouth. Nari Kusakawa is my favorite author, so it's definitely on my must-buy list(along with her other new books)!

And fielded the obligatory Tenjyo Tenge question during Q&A
I can't believe people are still asking about unedited Tenjyo Tenge.
Yeah, it's always nice to get unedited, but in a recession re-printing a title?
It's sort of refreshing to find a manga publisher not looking for OEL. Of course the company gets that on the DC side (original comics)

If you're excited about it, that automatically makes me interested. Will have to keep an eye on 51 Ways to Save Her.

This one is far more "accessible" to the general readership compared to his other titles e.g. Marie no Kanaderu Ongaku or Litchi Hikari Club.

I ain't gonna pay for a car that has no wheels. I want a car that has rubber wheels.
CMX isn't getting my cash until it coughs up unedited TenTen.

LOL, I was the one who asked the obligatory question (where you the guy two rows in front of me, black shirt if I remember?). They seemed a little miffed by the question (which is understandable because I'm sure it guessed asked a lot) so I didn't elaborate but in today's economic climate I honestly can't think of a better time to release an unedited version of the manga. They could release it either in hardcover compednium format (a la Viz) or do it as paperback "Directors Cut" manga. As someone who worked in books for 10+ years, I'd be thinking that the temptation to raise interest & sales for a title YOU"VE ALREADY LICENSED would be well..pretty tempting. But that's just me
C'mon repackaging & selling the same title to raise cash? DVD distributors have been doing it for years & like prev poster there's no way I'm buying it until an unedited version comes out, I've got the originals but I'd sure like to be able to read a translation I didn't have to download.
