Could be neat to see the fifth movie in 3D. Can't say I have a strong desire to rewatch that first movie again though.

Because watching a woman eat ice cream for 3 minutes is clearly worth the 3D upgrade.

Is this really the kind of movie someone wants to watch in 3d? There's like next to no action.

That's strange, I could have sworn the first film was almost an hour long...

You guys do realize this will just be a 3D conversion (read: not 3D at all), right? Unless something is actually FILMED in 3D, don't waste your money/time/effort/mental capacity on it. I tend to avoid them myself, even if they were originally shot that way, because of the upsurge in ticket price. But if it's the only convenient showing available, I guess there's little choice, of if it fits into my theater hop schedule... Go see Dredd, that was a nice 3D flick, gimmicky and atmospheric at the same time.
I wonder how many films I've missed that I should have seen in 3D, like Avengers, Prometheus, Spiderman; apparently I didn't miss much with Brave.

Hope 3D conversions die in Japan.
