I've been seeing a ton of news items about this upcoming anime on this site. So either this show has a lot of buzz going on about it, or there is some editorial direction within ANN that wants this show to get some attention.
So my question is this. What's the big deal about this series? Is it the Shoujo-ai angle? Or is there something else? |

According to the Encyclopedia entries for the anime and the manga, it has popped up in the news three times since mid-March. That's hardly unusual; in fact, that it hasn't gotten mentioned more is a strong indicator that there isn't much broad interest in it. (Unlike, say, the second season of Spice and Wolf.)
