Can't wait to get Arrietty, my Mom was excited when she heard about it because it was based off "The Borrowers" and she has never seen a studio Ghibli film before, I didn't care what reason it was that made her want to see it, I was just happy she was finally interested in a Studio Ghibli movie. But unfortunantly my mom had a headache the day we were going to go see the movie, she works at the local hospital so she's on call a lot and the closest theater to play Arrietty was an hour away. And I couldn't change the time to see it considering it was the only day an oppurtunity came up and that's only because my dad had a meeting in the town the theater was in on the weekend the movie came out and at the time the movie was playing. But I'm so excited about Arrietty coming out! I finally get to show my mother the wonderful world of Studio Ghibli.

Huh...forgot about the re-releases of Castle in the Sky and Whisper of the Heart. I'm going to be curious if my Walmart will carry both of them or just Arrietty, but if they do...well, I get the feeling I'll be seeing my shelves fill out further over my next three checks.

Walmart has them for $30. You should get them from Amazon if you don't have to pay tax, BB online if you want the Rewards points, or Target if you want them locally as BB stores aren't carrying them; all of them have them for $23 and the buy 2 get $8 off promotion.

The Bestbuy $8 off sale was a welcome event. I do not think all Best Buys had all three stocked. Only one of 4 in my area had all three, and even then I got the only copies of Whisper of the Heart and Castle in the Sky.

I was actually quite upset with the release of Arriety. Its very bare bones, only consisting of the making of the song for the american version and a corosponding music video. I was hoping for something a little more... substantial. Though, it is worth it just for the great movie.
