This makes me curious, why are the total sales slightly higher than the weekly sales in many cases (in several just one copy higher)?

uh
because Weekly sales is sales for one week while total sales his how much the sold in total

yeah, i don't get it too. I understand FMA, but other manga just released last week. Unless some store sell a couple copies early

This is most likely due to the new anime coming out, more people are buying it first week instead of buying it weeks after it comes out.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Vol. #7, and I'm still waiting on Vol. #2. Depressing
