I am LOVING the news today!
Kinda ironic since it's April Fools.

I think the joke here is that the trailer pretty much only had footage of the 1st season in it.

Too bad no licensing company has decided to pick up the first season yet...

Yep that was the first season summed up in less than 5 minutes. No excuses now for not being able to watch season 2.

It was probably a mistake to do a major Anime Expo that would have lots of news on April 1st.
Anyway, summer is looking better and better by the day!

Dog Days was all sorts of harmless fun. I'm looking forward to more.

There is always the chance for the second time around. After all, Crunchyroll didn't get Working!! the first time around.

Not sure if I'm excited about this, for a variety of reasons.

So not a trailer...more of a recap...
Still, I am looking forward to watching season 2 since I enjoyed watching season 1

The Japanese release was strange because it included English subs on them even though the show was not licensed in some fashion to the west.

Maybe the studio felt burned on what happened with Nanoha and decided to take matters onto themselves.

Speaking of which, the Nanoha movie also had English subs on them.
Subs were probably put on to make some money off of importers instead licensing it to the west...whatever the reason could be.
Now, it would be really strange of Dog Days 2 did not include English subs on the home media release.

But Dog Days isn't Nanoha and it probably has much more appeal to the market in the US....
Anyway, this show holds a special place in my heart. It is the ONLY fansub I have ever watched...even though I only watched the first episode and none beyond that. Or maybe I did watch the second one...

WHO LET THE DOGZ OUT? WHO? WHO?
The first season was cute as all get out. Some R1 distrib really needs to pick this puppy up.
