The male lead also has a tendency to pinch girl's noses. That threw me off a bit, but I found it rather cute. Embarassed

Of course wasn't the reason he did that because he "indirectly" liked the girl or something?

I think they said it was an indirect show of affection that he randomly did.

Yes, but only with girls that he was closely familiar with -- that is, only with his sister and the 幼馴染 (osananajimi) girl-next-door. That he instinctively does it with the princess proves he recalls (subconsciously) that he already knows her from the past.

It is, indeed, very clichéed, but I still like it. This is a very promising little bagatelle.

Ahhh episode 2, the "strange new girl's first day of school" gimmick. It does put some perspective that Feena is part of royality, and Tatsuya has to accept the fact she has political obligations. Hopefully that aspect will get played off to some bigger plot along the way. But for now, it's rather entertaining in an almost mindless way similar to watching Shuffle!, I guess.

I was hoping for more comedic (chibi) scenes than what they provided, and more nose-pinching. But episode 2 gave us some lite melodrama concerning Feena's obligations. Geh, still enjoyable to watch.

Yeah this series does have the "shuffle!" feel to it (hopefully this doesn't have any of the crazy plot twists.) I thought the nickname for Natsuki was funny...master carbon. Very Happy

Well episode 3 was really fun and it had well timed chibi moments. Very Happy spoiler[ I was cracking up with Natsuki's brother, when he did the puppet show part Laughing They even had an Iron Chef battle. Cool ][/spoiler]

Hehehe, the battle was pretty cute spoiler[(Natsuki and her charcoal meals on EVERYTHING Laughing).] Though the art quality really went down the crapper. Why am I not surprised that happened. Rolling Eyes

Watched eps 2-3.

I thought ep 3 was pretty amusing. Seriously, how can you turn soup into charcoal?? Razz Jin's little puppet show was pretty hilarious too. Laughing

Too bad for me that the series will apparantly end at 12 episodes, as I'm really enjoying this series. Smile

It's mindless fun though here's an example of art and animation quality gone bad in episode 3!

No, it's a robotic toy in Gundam universe. Cool

Episode 4 takes a mundane event, and RIDICULOUSLY BLOWING IT OUT OF PROPORTION! I mean, c'mon now! Rolling Eyes

Though they did heighten the chibi moments which were amusing like this one. spoiler[Of course the fact that Tatsuya, Feena, Mai, and Mia were scared of bugs and totally overracting towards them was...um...yeah right. Neutral

This threw me off. And not to mention Tatsuya's dad is some Indiana Jones knock-off.]
And next episode is our fan-favorite obligatory beach episode!

They deffinatly made it overdramatic but I have to say spoiler[the Indiana Jones part was sorta stupid and funny, I am a Indiana Jones fan and thought it was funny to even see it represented in an anime. Laughing I don't think Tatsuya was as afraid of bugs as Feena, Mia and Mai were since he didn't run away...he was pushed. Wink Feena and Mia were probably afraid since they have never been near one before...course I thought the Feena comando was kinda cute...though this episode could have been better. ]At least the favorite episode of a harem series is coming up next...beaches and bikini's.
