That's debatable. Funimation has a lot of great shows.
Anyway, Kuragehime I may check out. I want nothing more to do with that Sora No Otoshimono crap. I watched the first half of season one and just....no.

Thanks for that insightful reply. Rolling Eyes

I have zero interest in Sora, but Kuragehime looks quite good and all the reviews from ANN were positive. I'll definitely watch it, and pick it up if it gets released on DVD.

Kuragehime is part of the Noitamina block, and is well worth it. I still don't understand the Sora license - although funny, I have watched it so far on Crunchyroll (just don't ask me why as I don't understand it myself!).

I really don't mind Sora, I may even buy it when it comes out on DVD. But I don't consider it that great. It's just some mindless fanservice fluff with a halfassed attempt at a plot, but really I'm ok with that. It has some enjoyable moments for me, and that's good enough.

I assume you actually watched the first episode of Kuragehime when making this comment?

Thanks a lot FUNi. Nice to know that Kuragehime will be simulcasted. Here's to hoping for an eventual DVD release as well, along with the other Noitamina series.

I wonder what's up with the common stream with Crunchyroll ~ did Crunchyroll sign a non-exclusive streaming license, or is it an actual shared deal?

I also wonder whether Funimation will ever remark on why this season's noitaminA series took so fricking long to announce.

Yes, and I'm betting FUNimation's getting tired of listening to it.

Would have preferred higher quality shows, but considering the amount of great shows Funimation has licensed in the past, it's all right.

Though I will say this, I am not moe for moe.

I haven't been up to date with Funi's releases, but refresh this old pervert's memory if you will, did they ever release a Noitamina show on DVD?

Yay! Finally, word on Kuragehime! Glad I waited instead of going with fansubs. I'll be watching it tomorrow, along with the next episode of Shiki.

Yeah... it's funny, does Funi ever plan to release the Noitamina series?
They're quite different from the norm(not Legend of the Galactic Heroes different but...), and licensing just one and releasing would be risky enough.

I mean, I would LOVE to able to buy Tatami Galaxy and Shiki on DVD/BD as much as the next person, but... Funi never said they would.

Yeah; they released Paradise Kiss, Jyu-Oh-Sei, and Eden of the East on DVD.

Kuragehime might not seem like a show I'd like, but I'll give it a shot. After all, I can trust noitaminA to give me at least a quality show. Wink
