You're a subsidiary of one of the largest comic book companies in America. I find it hard to believe you couldn't get the good stuff, especially when start-ups like Dark Horse and Yen rarely had that problem.

Even though it probably won't happen, I really hope Orfina gets picked up.

Seriously?
That's all that you can say to your response.
Why am I pointing this out? Because it's not clear whether "exactly" means they are more likely to be picked up, or less likely. Or whether he is merely expressing sadness and or sympathy.
He so could of elaborated a little bit more.

I just hope Nyan Koi, Polyphonica, and Diamond Girl will get picked up in the future...

Well gee, I wonder what caused this turn of events?
(HINT: It wasn't because Emma showed her knickers and it offended the gentry.)

Megatokyo was the only property I ever bought from CMX, and will continue to do so. No big deal for me.

Oh, wow, other companies are interested in some of the licenses? Please, Dark Horse, after your work on Gantz, I believe in you. Please license rescue Tenjou Tenge and give it a proper, unedited/uncensored release! That would just make my decade.

I was collecting Apothecarius Argentum. I think maybe I was the only one.
I have little hope that anyone will rescue it, but I am happy I have the volumes that were released, even though they cancelled it on a cliffhanger.
grrrrr.

Duh.
Still pissed off about the way they handled it. Haven't bought any DC Comics since the whole debacle.
Anyway, I'm hoping for license rescues (and therefore completing): From Eroica With Love, Apothecarius Argentum, and Swan. There are some others I wouldn't mind trying out if they get rescued, but these are the ones that I have unfinished.

There are two or three other people on these forums, including me. Not that that really helps...

I'm *still* kicking myself for not picking up Emma when I saw it on the shelves the week before CMX shuttered. Then I went back and poof all the books were gone. Probably sent back to be destroyed or something.

Those are the only three I care about as well.
Wait, someone re-license Dorothea and Chikyu Misaki also; and I'll be good.
...maybe an unedited release of Ten-Ten, but as this point I don't know if I'd pick it up.

I really hope Swan is saved, it's one of the best shojo I've ever read. I love Eroica too but it's been ongoing since the seventies and doesn't really have much of a continuous plot, so I'm happy with what I have of it. It'd be great if a group like Darkhorse or Vertical came to pick up some titles.

Some of them will get saved. I know that Dark Horse recently sent out a message on Facebook (and maybe Twitter), asking what fans wanted to see released, with them looking to expand their manga lines. Check their Facebook and give them a message.
I'd love DH to pick up Broken Blade, Tengou Tenge and Musashi No9. Classics like Area 88, Guyver and 3x3 Eyes I'd love to be able to finish in english too.
I reckon DC could have stuck with CMX, but perhaps their early editing mistakes, hurt them the most in the eyes of fans, and maybe they never recovered from that stigma. They underestimated fans needs too. While CMX didn't have a Bleach or FMA, in its table, there was still plenty of good manga they could get. I think they were out of their depth with manga. A real shame that they didn't give Daryl Serat a call.

Whats even more surprising is that Oh Great! actually approved of the TenTen edits. I think he actually redeemed himself with Del Rey's release of Air Gear (and by extension, Del Rey's *GASP* actually listening to the fans in making no censorship edits).
Whereas CMX didn't listen to the fans and in a sense, utilized whatever reasoning (focus groups, sales figures, whatever) in justifying the edits.
