Incorrect (misreading): Atsushi Nishikiori (錦織 敦志)
Correct: Atsushi Nishigori (錦織 敦史) He has been credited before as 錦織敦志 (see here), but it's an anomaly as the majority of the time he's credited as 錦織敦史. All of the credits that are on his Nishikiori profile had him listed as 錦織 敦史 too. Source for the Atsushi Nishigori reading: にしごり あつし I'm honestly surprised that people would continue to add to his Nishikiori profile even when the source has 錦織 敦史 (Eva 2.0) and especially since he's been a pretty visible figure ever since Gurren Lagann came out. In any case, I've already flagged and added the correct info to his Nishigori profile (which also contains his correct kanji name), so please hide all of the staff entries and kanji names for Atsushi Nishikiori. It is likely the result of not checking alternate readings and doing at least a little bit of research on each name before it is entered. It can be time-consuming, and impossible to verify on lots of minor task people, but doing a quick check can avoid mistakes in cases like this where the correct reading is widely known. 錦織 seems to be a quite ambiguously read family name, so it's one that shouldn't have been assumed without checking first. In any case, I've completed the purge. |
